Festival Rucksacks Anyone?
The UK summer. Not a lot different to the UK autumn, winter and spring just slightly warmer. It may be damp, but that does not stop the hardy festival go-ers. The daddy of all festivals - Glastonbury - opens its gates today (Wednesday 22nd June), with the acts performing Friday - Sunday. Headliners this year are the likes of Muse, ZZ Top, Adele, Madness, Coldplay, Ellie Goulding and not forgetting the Lewishman and Greenwich NHS Choir!!! And that is just on the Pyramid Stage (for a full line up, visit Glastonbury Festival Line-up).
How about Festival Rucksacks to lighten the spirit?
Festivals are all about looking good. Kitted out in frayed shorts, Hunter wellies, and boho tops, itʼs our own version of Coachella, only muddier. A LOT muddier. For many, itʼs the first time away without parents, so itʼs quite a daunting prospect, both for parents and kids. One thing people worry about is how to keep your things safe, but also look good too. These striking Shine Shine rucksacks are a great find. With a sturdy external zip pocket, there is also the added bonus of an internal pouch, ideal for your mobile phone, return train tickets, keys, money, etc. There are some things you do NOT want to leave in your tent. The bold and contemporary design will also make you stand out, meaning if you get separated from your mates, there is more chance of you being spotted. And the best thing is that when you get home, it can be put on a cold wash in the washing machine and come up looking as good as new.
Shine Shine Rucksack
Shine Shine was founded by Tracy Rushmere and developed with fabric and graphic designer Heidi Chisholm. They have developed a distinctive tongue-in-cheek style, perfect for any festival. There are three rucksack designs to choose from; Jackie So (in cobalt and turquoise), Jennifer Paris and Oh Baby! and at 37cm high, 32cm wide and 20cm deep, will hold as little or as much as you want it to (not forgetting the all important wet wipes and toilet roll).
Shine Shine Trays
If you fall in love with the Shine Shine rucksack, then take a look at some other items in the same range. These quirky trays are a great way to inject some retro style into any party. Look out for the Shine Shine trays on the amazing Thoroughly Wild Meat Company catering stand at Glastonbury - their salt marsh lamb, dry aged beef and free range pork, as well as their great range of salads, makes them one of the best food stands there. Have a look at their Instagram and Twitter pages to see whatʼs on the menu throughout the weekend.
We know we may be a bit late for the start of Glastonbury tomorrow, but with a summer filled with music festivals around the country, make sure you get your Shine Shine rucksack in time for the next one. For a full list of UK summer festivals, click here.
