FabricNation - textiles with a narrative
South African based design duo Jann Cheritz and Jane Soloman are inspired by the African textile tradition, brought to life in a modern urban context with its blending of diverse sources and influences to create the ‘fabric of a nation’.
FabricNation supports a ‘homegrown’ philosophy where all fabrics are printed in South Africa and, as far as possible, 100% cotton base cloth is sourced locally. The designs are screen printed by hand or by using a rotary printing technique with a very old machine dating back to the late 1800’s.
The fabrics are also available by the meter. If you are interested please contact us.
